EVENT March 19, 2014 – Dr. Fran Kerton: “Can chemicals be green?”

FranThe March WISE NL-Statoil Speaker Series lecture features Dr. Fran  Kerton, associate professor at the Department of Chemistry at MUN. Dr. Kerton will provide an overview of her studies in the relatively new field of Green Chemistry. She will also discuss the importance of mentors (from both sides of the partnership), teamwork, decision-making and risk-taking in scientific and technological careers.
