Speaker Series: All about bones: insights from fossils & embryos with Dr. Tamara Franz-Odendaal

The April  WISE NL-Statoil Speaker Series lecture features Dr. Tamara Franz-Odendaal, Associate Professor at the Department of Biology, Mount Saint Vincent University, and NSERC Atlantic Chair for Women in Science and Engineering. Dr. Franz-Odendaal will present how we can learn from fossil and embryos and share insights into fundamental biological processes underlying skeletal complexity, space, and health research. She will also step through her career path, which started in South Africa, sharing her personal stories along the way.
