WISE NL SSEP 2020 and Covid-19

With the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, many programs and work placements have been put on hold for the foreseeable future. At WISE NL, we have been providing young women with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the areas of science, engineering, technology, mathematics and medicine for 30 years. The health and safety of our participants is our top priority and with the ever evolving Covid-19 situation, the fate of SSEP 2020 is unknown for the time being.

We are proceeding with the acceptance of applications for review and it is our hope that by the start of our program at the end of June, we will again be able to provide work placements for those selected.

To apply:  WISE NL Student Summer Employment Program (SSEP) 2020 application

If you have any questions or concerns surrounding the application or the program, our Program Administrator, Clare Lewis, can be reached by email at ssepadministrator@wisenl.ca or by phone at (709)631-1897.

As more information becomes available over the coming hours, days, weeks and months, we will be updating our interested participants and the WISE NL community on the status of SSEP 2020 through our social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Twitter) and on our website at www.wisenl.ca.
